Troy Neihardt is performing in St. Maarten at The Red Piano
Chicago native Troy Neihardt is performing in St. Maarten now through the end of April at The Red Piano, located at the Simpson Bay Resort & Marina.
Troy grew up playing piano and harmonica and listening to rock n’ roll on the radio. He studied classical music at the American Conservatory of Music and jazz at DePaul and Roosevelt universities.
Troy built a career in the Chicago blues scene and at various jazz venues. Then he was invited to play in Oslo, Norway. Troy considers the high-energy piano bars in Scandinavia to have been “boot-camp” for what he does now. He was a pioneer in the dueling piano movement that started in New Orleans, and he has since entertained audiences throughout the U.S. – from Detroit to San Francisco, Las Vegas to Miami – and around the world, from Ireland to Australia, Cancun to Singapore.
Catch his act Tuesdays through Sundays beginning at 8 p.m. at the Red Piano.
